Savannah - Joanne Ulivo Webster, 73, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by loved ones on June 27, 2007 under the care of Hospice of Savannah. She was born on November 13, 1933 to the late Joseph Paul and Helen Lucas Ulivo. Joanne attended Catholic schools and graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy in 1951. She attended Armstrong State College and Savannah Vocational Institute. Joanne retired from Kemira after 30 years of service and was a former member of the International Management Council. Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and sewing. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Hal A. Webster; two daughters, Andrea A. Wilson Joey and Therese A. Coleman Jimmy, both of Savannah; two sons, Christopher U. Adams of Savannah and Greg J. Adams Faye of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Ellen U. Henderson Ed; her grandchildren, Jimmy Coleman, Caroline Coleman, Joseph Wilson, and Adam Wilson of Savannah; Gregory Adams Carrie of Birmingham, Alabama; and Matthew Adams of Jacksonville, Florida; In addition, two beloved nieces, Claire Henderson Smith and Emily Henderson; and three stepchildren. The family would like to offer special gratitude to the caregivers at Island Healthcare and Hospice of Savannah.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 am on Saturday at St. James Catholic Church with The Rev. Joseph Smith, celebrant.
Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
